Mike Dexter, A native of Detroit, Michigan, is the founder and former senior pastor of Love of Christ Christian Center. An anointed preacher and teacher who draws from his life experiences to deliver God's word. Pastor Mike embraces technology to illustrate teachings with real-life applications through venues such as marriage seminars and men's conferences. His passion is winning souls for Christ so that marriages are restored and families healed.

He also established the Authentic Manhood Metro Detroit Men's Ministry, which now serves seven churches across Metro Detroit. This ministry supports men of all ages in discovering their purpose and becoming better fathers and husbands. Its mission is to transform and renew the minds of men by educating, equipping, and empowering them to embrace their God-given identity.

Mike has spent over 30 years in corporate healthcare marketing and is currently at Blue Cross Complete. He has brought more than 40 years of ministry experience and now consults with churches, coaching church planters and helping launch new congregations.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Eastern Michigan University.

He is also a new author, having published “Created for Purpose: Understanding Your Life’s Assignment,” a book designed to help readers discover their divine purpose.

Active in the community, Mike serves as a Deputy Chief in the Detroit Police Chaplain Corps, leading over 60 chaplains who serve over 2500 police officers.  He is a graduate of Leadership Detroit, class of 2001. He is honored to be married to DeJonna (Dee) Dexter for over 30 years, and together they have one adult daughter and two grandsons.
